I have purchased call of duty mw3 and bought elite off of the playstation network installed the console app and registered my account but it just seems like i have paid 35 for an application.

Its so frustrating. I paid 70 for the hardened edition and then for Elite to not even work is crazy. They&8217;re obviously absolute idiots, Activision can estimate the amount of users from pre-orders and previous sales figures and there still unable to prepare enough servers to allow the community you use the service.

Since Tuesdays launch, Modern Ware 3s multiplayer has been working great. In ct, the amount of players online is even higher than what it was this time last year for Black Ops. Have fun &8212; we hope you continue to enjoy MW3 to the fullest.

I was never able to register or log in, I simply didn&8217;t even know if I purchased it or not. There was no confirmation or anything but they did w/drawl the $49.99 already out of my bank. However, on Call of Duty Elite, we are having trouble scaling the service to meet demand. Many of you are trying to get in and unfortunately, you cant right now. Youre frustrated, we know it, and we know we need to fix it. Our teams have been working non-stop to identify issues and resolve them as quickly as possible. Again, these issues have no impact on the performance of the game.

How is this game not finished yet ? It says above their server&8217;s have been overloaded because so many people have been trying to login to elite. I am missing out on my double points (you know a large majority of XP points are achieved at the beginning of playing) A free month and an extension on founder status is not very much. How bout if it is still recording or progress take the best 2 hours of in game XP that we have had and add it to out account and still allow us the 2 hour bonus XP play time. Personally, I&8217;ve been unable to connect at all. The one time that I was able to register my account and link my gamertag, I was instructed to log back in and Elite said that my username did not exist. Since that time, I&8217;ve been unable to sign in at all.

I have had the opportunity to Beta test CoD Elite. I was totally blown away by how integrated it was with CoD. While I am a little annoyed myself at not being able to log in right away, I am happy to be patient as I will be able to confirm my Founder status thanks to the extension to to the deadline.

I&8217;m getting a bit sick these days of developers releasing games onto disc without them actually being finnished yet, I don&8217;t think enough research has went into preparing for the amount of users on Elite. To be honest I am easily addicted to Call of Duty, but I think technically BF3 is the better game. Call of duty is always the more expensive of the two and they must be raking it in, yet EA have online servers. It seems that a game of Call of Duty online is too easily swayed by any of the internet connections of the people who play it, games drop, they try to find a new host, it&8217;s appalling really. With all that in mind, I&8217;m the idiot who bought the hardened edition.

As a man whos in his early 40s I find that whenever I play BF2 or COD online I get my ass whooped by some hyperactive 12 year old whos no doubt jacked up on Red Bull and Monster Munch. I find this all rather upsetting and therefore I find myself playing the single player modes instead. I do hope the game developers dont all desert the single player mode. Er, while were on the subject could someone explain to me why camping is so bad? Surely in a real battlefield situation theres a whole load of camping going on (I know I would – preferably under a bed in Swindon).

I was a die hard cod player….until battlefield 2 game out, the multiplayer is unrivaled, its a lot more skillful tactical game, whereas call of duty takes very little skill…..every game seems to be full of kids running around screaming into there mics going for easy knife kills etc battlefield takes a lot more thinking to play well. and I love the ct that as you can destroy the buildings etc camping is basically non existent (as if someones caught camping the building is just bought down upon them)thats not mentioning the ct that cod still(and god knows why) does not include any reaslistic damage effects(right so i can shoot a wall with a rocket and not even scratch it……silly in a modern game) and no vehicle combat (which adds so much to the game in the bf series) and its pretty clear theres only one winner.battlefield is for adults who want a realistic combat experience….cod is for kids who want to camp and run around like headless chickens….bf for the win!

ps as for battlefield 3 servers crashing the first day thats not eas ult…..bf3 Europe release date is not until Friday….if a load of people receive the game early in Europe as has been the case and try to get online the servers may not have been prepped for such a huge number of people to logon that time of day(as peak game time in europe is different to the us due to time zones) they may have even had servers offline for a last bit of testing before the European launch massive log on…..so then because of retailers not paying attention a load of people get there copy early and try to log on….bang overloaded servers. blame the retailers not ea, release dates are meant to be stuck to in ct im pretty sure games companies fine and even ban those who break the release date from future releases.

We&8217;re getting a few reports today that the Battlefield 3 PC version has server problems, and players from the United States, launched there today, are getting issues when trying to connect in co-op or during multiplayer.

&8220;Failed to connect to EA online. Please try again.&8221; Xbox 360 version giving same error message over and over again. Great first impression after spending 60 bucks on a game. No wonder they won&8217;t allow reviews to be released yet for the consoles.

For now, please share your experience with the PC version of Battlefield 3.

don&8217;t get me wrong.  i am also a n of battlefield.  i have owned every battlefield since 1942.  i am just currently pissed at ea for this server crap.  but the truth is i have never had this problem whith call of duty.  as soon as i get home with the game i can play.  ea had this same server issue with medal of honor and when the beta came out.  you figure they would have their st together by now.

Multiplayer on consoles, its hard to deploy.  I mean wtf.  Your stuck on deploy screen forever and not joining in.  Sucks.

Shame on them for letting it happen twice, but still, it&8217;s a game. Relax, spend a night catching up on sleep or enjoying another game&8230; there&8217;s only how many of them out there.

Thanks for solving my problem Fu3lman.  My buddy who is a network tech and I spent 45 minutes staring at the Start game button in battlelog as we clicked it over and over to start coop.  No error messages, no invitations made it through nothing.  We even specified every port and port range within our routers with no change.  It must be Avast (although no error messages from Avast).  Overall, I&8217;ve got to say that if Battlefield 3 wasn&8217;t so well built by Dice I would never have purchased it because of their horrible Origin/Battlelog intece.  I have seven friends I play with on Steam that we now have to go through this mess of a program.  Here&8217;s the thing, I spent my $50.00 because Dice knows how to make a ntastic game but EA I am done with you for every other game in your roster.  This was a stupid, stupid decision to make us use this half baked garbage.

Been trying for over 5 hours to get it run, no campaign or single player, took 80 minutes to connect to online help, told me to try again friday or so.

i have had no problems with the game installing or anything like that, i just suck at the game&8230;. its REALLY hard to get used to the no aim assist.

I like both games. But COD has always provided the better gameplay and overall experience. With that said&8230; Battlefield is a top tier shooter. It&8217;s a juggernaut. It&8217;s just not as smooth of a package as COD is. I absolutely cannot wait til&8217; MW3 arrives. I&8217;m no &8220;n boy&8221; either. I like them both&8230; I play them both&8230; but I just tell it like it is. Deal with it.

at least battlefield had a beta. the only problem is that they don&8217;t have enough servers for everyone. for the beta they had to switch all of bfbc2 to battlefield3 servers. once the beta was over they switched them back so people could play bfbc2 before bf3 came out. call of duty is just a hacked mess and mw3 is mw2 with new maps and weapons. if you want to wcod game serBattlefield 3 PC server problems, waiting on fixaste your money go ahead but mw3 will be a huge disappointment.

Any pc game Dice is involved with, will never run correctly on a computer. They proved this with BFBC2 And now with BF3. Plus their customer service sucks!! Save your 60 bucks for a game that actually works on pc, lake any Call of Duty game.

Agreed. It simply will not connect to the EA server right now. I&8217;m kinda sick of having a game have so many issues when it launches. Less servers = less money&8230; basically. Next time&8230; put a few more dollars behind the game when it launches so that it doesn&8217;t affect the quality of the product. I haven&8217;t even played ONE multiplayer game yet. EA&8230; get on this guys. We all paid $60 or so for this game&8230; most of us&8230; JUST for the multiplayer. Get it together over there.

This is about their servers, NOT their games. When a company advertises something like this, they should expect to have an above-average amount of people playing on release, and in turn, should have the server capacity to handle it. If the game populations slows down or evens out, they can mess with their servers to handle the gamer population decline. It happend with BF2, that&8217;s why they&8217;re &8220;aware of it&8221;. They&8217;re probably installing new servers while the error occurs, so be patient.

Unacceptable! There is no reason why a beta that proposed millions of people would play would elude the IT at EA that load would not be an issue. They should have been ready, period. They need to spend more to increase their capacity. I&8217;ve seen this with countless EA titles. Spend less on marketing, more on infrastructure. The public will hype it for you-get your acts together!

I&8217;m stuck on the initialization and loading screens on Battlelog. It won&8217;t physically let me play this game on my PC (Which I checked, allows me to play the game on max settings). Since this seems to have hit a lot of people, I&8217;d say DICE and EA seriously messed up this release.

this is why the call of duty franchise is better.  they don&8217;t do demos, but when the game comes out it seems to play fine.  maybe a few bugs but atleast you can play.  these fks with battlefield had an alph and a beta test and there stuff still doesnt work.  I wish I would of never bought this game.  Modern Ware 3 can&8217;t get here st enough.

One of two problems I&8217;ve encountered is in-game sound being almost inaudible on my Audigy 2 soundcard but my onboard Realtek sound chip works fine.  The other problem is trying to party join a server ils every time.  Following friends by using the join alone option seems to work fine.

I spent 30 min last trying to install the game and 30 min on the phone with tech support before I got frustrated and decided it&8217;d be more fun to give my dogs another tomato juice bath (to combat the skunk they killed Friday)&8230; First, the origin app said my email was invalid (I assure you it&8217;s valid) so I naturally went to register on the website when I was told that my user name was already in use.  I could not do the online chat because they require you to log in.  On the phone I was told to get a new email address and that I couldn&8217;t even get a support ticket ID because he couldn&8217;t create the ticket with my email address.  This morning I got up and tried to register again using the EXACT SAME information and it worked fine.  Naturally,荔园晨风. I had to leave for work before I finished the install, but I&8217;m 16hr in and still haven&8217;t played yet.

I think its great that 2k is pumping out all this additional content after the ct.  Its sort of unprecedented for sports titles (except for the year Fi introduced Ultimate Team and the AFL anniversary pack in Madden 10), and while this isn&8217;t the kind of content I&8217;d pay more money for (especially at $10), I&8217;m sure there are plenty who would.

I agree with you to an extent. The DLC offering is awful and limited. Still cannot use legends, which is the main selling point of this game, online and cant use legends to add to current teams.

2k12 has been a disaster online lmo at them selling dlc when they havent gotten that or anything else fixed first. wheres the website? wheres online association with total commish control? wheres my player without every player getting traded every few weeks? come on 2k seriously.

Those hoping for the option to use their My Player after the surprise removal of &8216;Crew&8217; and &8216;Pickup&8217; modes online will be disappointed to learn the only use of My Player in the DLC is for them to go up against the legends in various challenges &8211; nothing relating to online. The biggest addition is arguably the ability to use historic teams in &8216;Classic Quick Match&8217; online but it&8217;ll be tough to make that a real selling point when online play continues to be so troubled by connection and performance issues.

And finally (lol) you are exactly right. Instead of going off on sudden impulse an buying the game then bagging on it, research it or wait until all the cinks are undone to get it. That&8217;s it&8230; I&8217;ve been waiting to go off like that about this game for a while lol.

Sorry it takes 2 minutes to get a game, im sure Madden taking 30 seconds to check if you have the roster is tolerable though. And again I am not a n not of either companies, but NBA 2K12 has minimal gameplay flaws. Also, the My Player pick up games are really not even a big deal&8230; Crew I do wish it is back but honestly it&8217;s not impeding my opinion at all because it really isn&8217;t a big deal. I think you all honestly need to wake up and stop downplaying this game. Online matches have only a few instances of lag like EVERY game with an online mode. I&8217;m not sure how 2K12 has been a &8220;travesty&8221; or a &8220;piece of &8221; because it had problems with its servers. I couldn&8217;t even play Madden online until this latest update! (which I&8217;m grateful for). I don&8217;t know if I will be buying this DLC just because I don&8217;t use the legends often, but I surely would if I did. You all need to just relax, as the online was fixed in about two weeks no matter how long the searching for an opponent may take (I&8217;ve had no problems getting a game within a minute or two). There is nothing major about this game to make it a bad game and it got high reviews on other sites because it is the best basketball game ever made. And I am not a 2K n boy, I buy whichever games look the best, but there is no way in hell i would ever try NBA Elite after playing NBA Live 09 and even 10. In the Live games, every single action was on an animation,荔园晨风. such as you could tell if a shot would go in depending on the arch. So before you begin to insult 2K, realize that EVERY GAMING COMPANY does the same thing. Call of Duty, NHL, Madden. The game is still goid however this DLC for $10 is steep. If it included more teams I would consider. With the online issues it hurts the value of the DLC.
